This all started with a rental apartment… sorta.

For years, I’ve been obsessed with making spaces feel like home – even when they weren’t technically “mine.”

I can take a bland beige rental and transform it with peel-and-stick wallpaper, thrifted finds, and strategic styling until it feels like a magazine spread. (And yes, I’ve definitely stayed up until 2am rearranging a gallery wall more times than I’d like to admit.)

When I’m not rearranging furniture, I’m working full-time in digital marketing and content creation.

(I used to work in retail for years, but honestly? Creating content and helping people style their homes is SO much more fulfilling – believe me.)

One day in 2023, when I was scrolling through Pinterest and seeing nothing but AI-generated “perfect” rooms that didn’t feel real or achievable, I realized that if I was craving authentic home decor inspiration this much… other people probably were too.

And so Feeling Homely was born.

Of course, we started with bedroom styling – that’s always been my favorite room to decorate.

We published cozy bedroom ideas, then living room layouts, and even small space solutions.

Then we dove into seasonal decor, budget-friendly DIYs, and all those little styling tricks that make a house feel like home.

Now we’re covering everything from color psychology to furniture arrangement, and I can’t wait to see where this goes.

It turns out that sharing home decor inspiration is the most fun I’ve had online in years…
